Dimming down the Hi-Beam teletale?

I've found that the Hi-Beam (blue) teletale is irritatingly bright and with the rest of the teletales they dont dim down with the dash control.

Is the dash CAN controlled or a simple wire from the switch? If its a wire from the switch then I can chuck an inline resistor in to tone things down a touch.

Its putting me off driving the fun roads in the dark lol
