DJ's! Jonnyboy, Danny Etc....Which CDJ's + why..?

Ok, bearing in mind there's a few CDJ's around at the minute is it worth spending big bucks on the CDJ1000 or go for one of the older models and save some cash?

What do you lads think? I've no experience on CD's at all BTW.

yea had a quick scan...does look very cool, seen PVD using it too. considering Serato also, I know jonnyboy rates that.

from what i'm reading i can't really see the benefit of going for an 800 over 400? unless im missing something?

i would take a 400 over an 800 any day of the week and i own 800's. 1000's are just not worth the money at all in my eyes. if its scratchin you want to do go for the 800's, if not 400's all the way

another bit of advice, dont feel the need to have to buy a pioneer mixer, had the 600 for a few years then swapped it for an eccler nuo 5 which is an amazing bit of kit for the same money, better build quality, sound quality etc etc

yea ive seen that too, considered Allen and Heath also, i like simplicity of the djm though, waiting for a cheap one to come up on fleabay atm...
