Do all mk2's have an ISOfix bar and the same carpet?

I have removed the ISOfix bar from my 172 to save weight but this has left an unsightly gap between the seat back and the carpet. I am sure I have seen a lower spec Clio without the bar and a larger section of carpet.
Am I being stupid or have I seen this? Are they the same colour carpet if they do exist?

At the back of the boot by the rear seat is a black bar which I believe is as ISO standard fitment for child seats but is also a mounting point for boot straps etc.

I think the isofox system was only added in the ph2s/ph3s so you might be able to find something from a ph1 that would work.

I am sure I saw a pic' of someones boot build yesterday which didn't show an ISOfix bar.

Might have been mine, I removed mine years ago. Its a mk2 ph1 sort of middle of the range spec, maybe the base speacs dont have them but I think they do

Dunno, I removed it when I stripped the car for Crail and couldnt be asrsed putting it back in!

i earthed my sub via the hole and bolt!

Was gonna take mine out, but then i'd loose the boot net loops.

Its used to securely attatch the bases to child seats.

Its for child seats not the actual seats!

Think they all come with isofix bars. Had a poverty spec mk2ph1 and now a ph1 rsi.. never seen a clio without.

jamestone took his isofix bar out to save wieght and it only wieghed 5kgs and he said it was a real pain to get out

^ it is a REAL pain to get out unless you have a torque gun or something. And it leaves a horrible gap with the standard carpet also the base of the seats looks ugly from the boot without it.

Tbh im leaving it this time.
