Before everyone starts screeming "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON!"
I have and cant find any info on weather they actually
create meaningfull downforce. (An hour of reading is enough for me)

All the threads ive read only go on about how they look.

Did any of you notice any more frount end grip after you
fitted one?

DONT HATE ME:mad:

I just want to know if its a serious performance mod or,
just cosmetic?

purely cosmetic.

Not true. I asked the experts on the RS forum years ago if they actually did anything. I can't remember the numbers they threw back at me, but they were wind tunnel tested and whilst they don't generate downforce they do reduce the amount of lift according to them.

If you want to know the specifics I suggest asking the expert pannel on there again.

would be interesting to know of the measureable effects, but adding 1" of depth to the frontal area's probably not going to make any noticeable difference from the driver's seat? don't know as haven't run mine without

I very much doubt you'd ever be able to tell from the drivers seat. Sounds
good in the pub though!
