I'm very happy with this thing, but there's a slight niggle with it:
The 13" screen has a magnetic catch. I believe that one of the magnets are rattling within the screen. So whenever I handle the screen, it makes a rattling noise.
The first time I noticed it, I went round the machine checking if all the screws were tight. To my disappintment, the screws at the rear (by the vent/screen hinge) were loose.
I tightened them up (which hasn't cured the screen rattle), and it made me wonder whether I should send it back. Or perhaps my replacement will be just the same?
Anyways, I rang apple today and their customer service was EXCELLENT.
After speaking to technical support, I immediately got an RMA number to send the laptop back.
I explained that it's my only machine, so the replacement will arrive before I have to send the original back. That way, I have time to transfer files/hard disk (whichever I prefer).
