Do you think spacers are needed

  172, Tiguan

Have put the Dynamique 15 inch wheels on the cup, and although the fronts went on fine, the back wheels probably only have about 4mm clearence between the spokes and the caliper.

Is this a reasonable gap? Or should i look to get some spacers fitted to give a bit more of a gap?

Must admit it looks a bit close, but im happy that the spokes clear the calipers - what do you guys think?

Well cos the bolts are obviously longer than standard i assume. maybe, i dunno.

Much better than the turinis anyway ;)

Id recommend you keep the offset the same so spacers will def. be needed. Unless youre going to be poodling around!

and i meant why put them on :p

Put my wheels on the valver and nearly took the rear calipers off. I put some 17mm spacers on that are too big and now its lowered the wheels rub like mad.

Bought some 6mm spacers the other day but due to my neighbours having at least 6 cars parked all over the place (half of which are un-taxed) I cant put them on!

So, the moral to the story is - if it aint broke dont try to fix it!!

are your pads new(ish)? new pads might move the calipers out a fair bit. only a problem if yours are nearly gone.
