Not used the pro versions, but compared to other ddj soft waxes and SNH it's firmer in consistency, but a little oilier. For that it spreads a little further using less. It tends to hold its rich colour a little longer as well. Water behaviour and durability lasts just a little longer also, but I hear the pro versions are better than standard.

For the saving, if you choose to buy carbon I'd buy from a reputable source and not risk vetting caught with the import taxes.

Its no secret I like carbon.

But with good reason. Durable, easy to use and GREAT results. Zymol really fucked themselves with this wax. Glasur isnt that far ahead in any respect. Certainly not when you consider its price.

Ive used pro and non pro Purple Haze. Carbon is a much more special wax. It also sits best over clean paintwork (without a glaze) or better still over a nano sealant. I find it holds that just waxed look longer too.

Monza Car Care and CleanYourCar are two stockists.

Cheers lads

Ive used both DDJ non pro & pro
The pro is defo better

I think im definatly going to try the carbon at some point

The DDJ seems to wear off a bit quickly for my liking. Im guessing by the sounds of it the carbon lasts longer.

I wouldnt call it chocolate mate but it is chemical. Not petrol or solvent. But ... artificial . Smells great though I stick my nose in the pot each time I load my pad up.....

Like I said. carbon is special. DODO just feels a bit normal. overpriced definitely.

Yeah it seems overpriced to be fair & theres not much durability to it. I like the fact it covers up a few stone chips as my cars blue

Im defo going to give the carbon a go

Top advice & info lads
Cheers :)

Not now Ive got Sonax QD!

I dont have the time anymore unfortunately. For me its a wash at Shell Pressure wash station then a quick spray of QD. I carry 5 x 5ltr bottle of water so I can have the luxury of 2BM.

Plus Sonax QD and nano sealants are so much more durable. Im all set for winter....

I miss being a student.Once I own a house (in about 10 years time once Ive moved out the Woking) flat Ill get back into waxing.
