Don't suppose anyone has carried out a business risk assessment of apple?

  Mk2 Golf GTI
The GF has an assignment on business risk assessment and has to find out a risk that a major company has faced and/or overcome. I suggested maybe using Apple as they were on the brink of going under before the iPod and she seemed keen but doesn't know where to look.

She needs to look for risk mapping models used by the company too, whatever they are.

There's a free nosh for anyone who can help!*

PS, she's a student, so naturally it's due in Monday ;)

They very nearly went bust.

The first Jony Ive iMac saved the day.

Apple was doing badly. Jobs brought in John Sculley from Pepsi to be CEO. He and Jobs fought. The board axed Jobs. Jobs left to creat NeXT. Apple got worse. They kicked out Sculley. Bought NeXT with Jobs and co and brought them back. Jobs saw Ive hiding away and loved his face. Ive created the iMac. Then the iPod. iPhone. iPad.

There you go. Just expand that. Apples history is alllll over the web.
