Ive Just let me doris drive the 182 for the first time - Shes always having a go at me for driving, shall we say enthusiastically....... At one point tonight, after a roundabout going along a straight I pointed out that she was doing 80 in 3rd and still going strong and she was smiling like a chesire cat!

ooh she says, this is great, it feels a bit faster than my car (Festa 1.25 lx)!!

Well what can I say, shes been bitten by the bug and Ill have to hide the keys from now on

LOL... shes just asked if I fancy going to the pub.....she doesnt mind driving if I want a drink....this is a first (Offering to drive on a pub night)!

Just got back from the pub suitably lubricated! I cant believe the change, she was telling everyone about the 182! Got most things wrong and was a little embarassing saying things like yeah the one with two exhausts cos it needs them to go faster and Its got lights on BOTH vanity mirrors! not to mention Its got really bright lights, ask Jez hes in a car club!!!!

Ive created a monster, but it was nice being driven to and from the pub although I did have to tell her to change gear a few times and ease up. She doesnt understand the getting the engine warm bit.

Earlier (when it was warm) I was encouraging her to hold onto the gears a bit longer so its my own fault really
