doubling up on wheels spacers? advice needed please

  CLIO PH1 172
hi guys

im after some advice on wheels spacers.

after looking around at FCS yesterday i noticed allot of cars with HUGE spacers and some that had two spacers on each wheel?

I am currently running 30mm on the front and 25mm on the rear. although im pretty happy with my rear spacing i feel my fronts could come out another 25mm. easily.

all my spacers are eibach bolt-to-hub hubcenric.

would it be safe to bolt another set of 25mm spacer to my front hub. which would bring it out to 55mm on each side, widening the track at the front up by 110mm ?

this would make my stance look a million times better but would it be safe?

thanks guys

Adam, you're mental!

I'd never consider doubling up, double the amount of points of failure, not to mentiion the pressure it'd be putting on the set on bolts the furthest in.

Safest bet is to look for some 50mm spacers or similar.

Thing is with the RS (and our area) - I imagine you hit a fair few speedbumps per day, and I also imagine you enjoy to drive in quite a spirited manor, two things I wouldn't even consider doing if you had the other set up.

i would say not.

just buy wheels with a differnt offset if your that fussed...

tbh i should be getting some wheels with a much better offset very soon.

55MM is alot.

Can you not get a custom spacer which is 55MM in length ?

Sam!

im not sure where i can get this sort of thing from. as i would be very interested in getting some proper beefy spacers.

the stress on the bolts is the main thing i was worried about tbh, yes im pretty mental, but after looking at my car at fcs i think i need to get the wheels a bit more flush.
