Dreaded sunroof rattle is back

Hi all,
The rattle has returned...lol. Is there good fixes out for this yet? I have got the rubber tubing fix and the washer on the handle. Maybe if I just replace the washer and rubber tubing?

It aint half annoying! Just waiting for it to leak now..lol

PS. Its a 2002 Clio 1.2 Dynamique with manual SR.

There a few fixes depends wha's been chnaged upto now
Get a new handle there not mcuh from Renault.
The best fix is the final one Renault do which is to replace it all but its a big job.

Thanks for the reply. My car is out of warrenty now and don't really want to pay reno prices if its a big job. Has the new handle been modified some how? Also, how much, roughly, am I looking at for the new handle?

Thanks for that Mike, never thought of looking on eBay. I wonder if the handle has been modified somehow?

When I had my 1.2 in for some work a few months ago, the mechanic said that the sunroof on Clios did often rattle (he drove a V6 at that time). Apparently rubbing a little silicone round the seal will stop it. I never got round to trying this though. Mine seemed a lot worse in cold weather?

Yeah, they are well known for rattling.
