Driver headlight fuse

The fuse for the drivers main beam headlight has blown twice now. At first I thought it was the bulb but after changing the fuse it was working fine. I always know when it's about to go because it starts flickering for a while, almost as if it's moving up and down. Is there anything else in that circuit?

Could the current bulb be faulty even though it seems to work for a while? Is it worth me changing it?
