Driving around with no side strips

Going to be taking mine off for painting :approve:

Dont really want any water going in them, whats the best way to cover them up? Masking tape would go soggy me thinks.

You dont really have to cover them up, but just wack some tape on them, or some electrical tape would work nicely

yeah tape would be the best temporary fix, can't see much else being feasable

I never taped mine up but try some tape that wont rip the paint off but wont come off easily in the rain!

masking tape will stay on fine but will be a c**t to get on once it had been wet . colour it in black to colour code it a bit lol

masking tape stayed on quite well but left a gluey mess once i peeled it off. intensive tar remover worked a treat.

yeh tarremover or t cut gets it of fine it will be covered up anyway so id just bang masking tape over it
