Driving my 172 in France

  wanting a 225or197
Hi,
Im taking my 2002 172 over to france next week for hols. Can the xenon headlights be easily adjusted for diving on the other side of the road? Or do i need to stick those plastic 'things' on my headlights?

..I did speak to my local dealer, but funnily enough they werent helpful! :S Said they didnt know and to bring it in so they could have a look!

Cheers guys..

those stickers don't work with the Xenons IIRC, not sure how to resolve the problem though.

I am driving across france in my 182 this coming weekend. I must say i have not done anything about these.
But from previous experience of a bmw xenon unit out of a rolls royce phantom there is a flap inside the xenon part of the headlight. I think i will leave mine. At the end of the day if a renault dealer cant help you, what do they expect.

The Nurburgring here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :) :approve:

I was thinking the same as you Ian, wasnt gonna bother. But knowing my luck will get stopped by the french plod!

I think if i get stopped i will jus get them to ask a renault dealer for me because people seem to have limited knowledge on xenon lights especially what side to dip on.

from what I remember from the Forum the majority of cs members haven't done anything when going over in the past.

Should be a good drive. Going accross the millau bridge will be good, as long as your not scared of heights! lol!
