Clio mk2 1.2
So I did a cheap/stupid thing today
Bought new brake drums & shoes for my mk2 and they are visibly smaller. Like don’t even need to open the box smaller.
In my rush to buy them before they’re out of stock again, I bought the 180mm drums but I have the 203mm drums. I didn’t even take the wheel off to compare. I know there will be fitment issues but I didn’t even know clio drums came in a smaller size.
Is there anyway to convert the brake shoe fitment to 180 ? If I get this kit…
With the pins and pistons would I be able to just straight swap it?
I’ve been waiting for new drums for a while and euro car parts only have one of the 203mm drums in stock. Reluctant to buy this as its £180 per drum and it doesn’t specify if it has the bearing pre-installed.
