DS25000 Pad wear differences

I have just changed my pads to DS3000's and noticed that the pads that came off the drivers side hand't worn evenly.

This is the difference, the 2p makes the pads level.

The DS3000's are awesome, a mate who was following me thought my brakes were on fire and I was going to die they were sparking so much!

I have only had them on a day, but so far i have found they stop me much quicker than 2500's. They should be able to handle extreme temperatures better also.

ye i thought that too.

i'm having 2500's put on mine, whats price difference?

that's such a small difference i'd put it down to the driver, ie braking whilst turning - ie your driving style ;)

Pads will always wear more on the piston side, it goes hand in hand with single piston callipers.

Your brakes are sparking because of the high carbon content (iirc) that is in them.

Ok cheers guys, I can hear one my brakes squealing whilst driving slowly so I think I will get some grease on the calliper sliders at the weekend, just to be safe.

If you break in a straight line mainly then pad wear should be more even than that IME, as Matt mentions I would check the sliders are moving freely.

Certainly doesnt look enough difference to worry about though.
