Dual Optic Query

Ok, just bought a set of Dual Optic lights off of a member on here. Thing is, they look to me as if there are no actual bulb holders, and the plastic around where the bulb would be seateed looks burnt/melted. To me it looks like theres something missing to hold the bulbs in place. Any ideas? These werent bloody cheap!!!

Looks like uprated bulbs have been used and melted the casing?
(just a thought)

or the bulb has been incorectly fitted resulting in the glass surrounding the filament to get too close to plastic thus melting it.

as long as the bulbs still fit correctly i shouldnt worry.

They look ok, apart from the burnt bit, but should still function ok.

the main bulbs are hb3's so have an integrated holder

the sidelight bulb holder is on the end of the loom iirc

You will need 2X HB3s and 2X H7s they will slot right in, you can use your exisitng idicator and W5W sidelights that will slot straight in.

Thats still missing the H7 main beam holder though isn't it? Can't tell from that pic really.

I wouldn't worry with it really, its easy enough just take your time if your not sure.

Its definatly ready for the bulbs to slot in, have you got the rubber seals as your asking for trouble if they are missing.
