Alex took me out this morning in his V6, I absolutely love these cars and determined to own one soon. After being out in this - definetly sure that I would like one

The noise, the way it looks, everything is amazing. Went down to the lambo/ferrari garage and even the sales men where having a good look at it quality

Good MkII probaly 15k upwards

but you can get a MkI for sometimes 7 or 8k

I wouldn't mind owning one for a bit as they look great but I cannot see them holding their value too well.

recaros are around £1500 to fit yourself iirc.

standard seats are same as those in 172/182

Thos recaros can be had for 350 ish each im sure plus frames!

mk1 is 227 bhp mk2 is 252 and both about 220 lb ft off the top of my head!

You can get a mk2 for about 13k now - it'll need the cambelt doing soon though (that is a grand)

Chris, no Recaro's aren't a standard fit on the V6's - I fitted the EVO6 recaros to my V6 (Illiad - so the EVO seats look like standard in mine, because of the colour) I picked up mine relatively cheaply too and they were quite easy to fit.

I think the Vee's should have had Recaro's as standard TBH, the standard Reno seats were pants - but I guess it's each to their own - I know some Vee owners who wouldn't ever change the standards for Recaros...:S

No different to 172's/182's getting as much as 10bhp less than stated (182's running 170 odd) on rolling roads.
