EBC Turbo vented disc help/advise!

Hello all

I'm after some advise, I've purchased a full set of ebc turbo cross drilled discs and green stuff pads for my 02 plate phase 2 Clio sport 172.
Front have gone on a treat, but I've come to do the rear and I've put the new bearings in and swoped the abs rings over etc, I mounted the discs back onto the Stubbs and tightened the hub nut to 100nm as Renault specifie. But when I do this the disc won't turn!! Has any body come across this before? Has anyone else had any problems with rear ebc discs? Are 172 wheel bearings different to a standard Clio? Could the factors have provided me standard bearings and not ones for a 172?? All in put and advise would be muchly appreciated!!!!

Thanks

Auto dater had 100nm?

I didn't take any spacers off mate!!

I'm so confused! So are all rear disc Clio bearings te same?

I've just been and tried ebc discs with part number GD712, these seem to have done the trick, they sent me two different sets, but the ones that look the same as the originals didn't fit, so tried the second pair (as named above) seem to have done the trick!! Passenger side at least!! Took the drivers side disc out the box and it's just a casting! Doesn't look like it's been milled or drilled etc! I've checked every bit I took off and no spacers!!! There is a tapered bit at the base of the stub axle? Is this what you mean?

Really chaps? Can I ask why they are so crap? Apart from the obvious ball ache I'm having?? I was recommended them, to be honest wish I hadn't bothered!! Funny you should say that cause when I started struggling I threw my rattle out my pram and ordered genuine Renault!!! They turn up Saturday as they had no stock!! Unless you can recommend a good maker of brakes???

To all!! Do not bother fitting the ebc turbo rear discs, they are terrible! The fit is poor, the castings Are even worse!! It's cost me a fortune now to get standard discs again for the rear! In a nut shell you were all right!! They are terrible terrible brakes!!!

There would of defiantly been a spacer behind the bearing upon removal, it's there to prevent the wheel
Bearing coming into contact with the stub axle.

Genuine Renault discs now fitted to the rear, the car brakes and abs are spot on!! Lesson learnt!!

The only thing I could see and class as a spacer was a tapered shim about 4-5mm sat at the base of the stub axle??? They where both on!! Are they what you mean mate?
