ECU monitor/SECS monitor?

A friend of mine has recently bought a Sapphire Cosworth and he's got a neat little display in that basically shows everything the ECU is reading, things like throttle inputs, oil temp, and a myriad of other info.

I did a bit of googling and found that similar things are available for Subaru's - is there anything about for the Clio's or are they generic devices that can be wired up to any ECU?

Arent there generic OBDII readers that will give this sort of information on a display similar to these that you've seen?

I was told that your limited to what you can get out of the ecu on a clio.

although since iv'e had the Rstuner there is s**t loads of stuff it reads!

Ta. There seem to be a few about, many of them a little 'too fast, too furious' for me, but I'll keep looking. This sort of thing seems ok, but I'll keep looking around:

Ive not seen any better gauge that these.

They are the best of the best style wise if you are into that sort of thing and can afford it. I like them and they plug into the EOBD port. No mucking about around the engine.
