ECU swap

quick question! if i have an ECU and key for an identical clio, can i just swap them over? or is there more to stop me?!

err the key might fit but won't be correct for the car (side airbag excepted)

imobiliser cannot be reprogrammed onces programmed so only work on the original car.

i know the key won't fit, it's more as the immobiliser is part of the ECU i thought if i had the key for the new part the blip would mean i wouldn't need it coded, and my blade will fit the ignition barrel. i ment more will the fueling and everything be the same? my garage think my ecu is faulty, and a scrappy part wud be more than welcome over a new part!
