If i bought a 2nd hand ecu 4 my 172 would i have 2 have the ecu reset 2 my car??

Im no expert but dont they reset themselves if they have been disconnected from the battery for half an hour?

I think you will need to either buy a new ecu or one that has been unlocked otherwise it wont work iirc.
