Yep, full pro drag blocks are just milled out of billet, which is obviously massively expensive.
So next best thing is to fill the block, various epoxys and stuff out there to do the job and obviously here concrete.

Keeps the cylinders from distorting out of shape or cracking under the extreme loads.

Methanol takes out about 500BTUs.

Man, it's a shame this needs to be concrete filled. I know it's not ideal anyway, but would be ace to be able to drive it on the road

it would be awful to drive on the road, peak boost at nudging silly rpm to say the least and then all it would take is a bus to stop on the wheelie bars and you ain't going anywhere ?
