A guy came round today about a custom turbo manifold for my project
We've decided on a top mounted:evil:, central, equal length manifold in 316 stainless. The guy is an ex-prodrive TIG welder and i've seen some of his work and it's WOW
I mentioned an EGT (exhaust gas temperature) Boss and he seemed ok with sticking one on for free if I could find him a Boss. So a few questions with regards to EGT sensors

- The boss - what size is it? is that universal throughout all sensors?
- Best place to buy a sensor? Best to buy a kit or what?
- How much am I looking at?
- Emerald has in input for a VAG G235 EGT interface, how much are these and is it worth putting the EGT into the emerald? Would it be better just to use a gauge on the dash? I spose emerald could Log the EGTs if it had an input.
