Eibach Pro Kits vs 182 Cup springs

This is a question for those who've gone from Cup springs to Eibach Pro Kit springs.

Did the Eibach's match or improve handling on the car? I've done some research and as far as I can see, the Pro Kits are less sporty than the Sportlines, as explained by this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CwNK5kqYBM

I'm set on the Pro Kits as they seem a good all round spring for what I want. But I'm looking to have a slight handling improvement over the Cup spring. Would these bring that?

I found them slightly stiffer than standard, but there isn't much in it tbh

Great cheers mate, I think new Cup shocks + pro kits and solid top mounts should be a good setup for me!

i have sportlines and really really rate them, new cup shocksshould freshen it up...i decided to go one better and get sachs dampers

I'd love some sachs but my budget won't allow it

Think the Cup shocks will be a drastic improvement over my 80k old front shocks, and 1.2 spec budget rear shocks!

You would be surprised at the difference, just by having all new oem shocks and springs.

You would be surprised at the difference, just by having all new oem shocks and springs.

On the back of this, it really depends how old your springs are. If they've done 50k then new springs will make a nice difference but not necessarily because it's from OEM (not sure who makes the standard springs) vs Eibach.

A spring is a spring at the end of the day, it's a coiled piece of metal - Eibach Pros just happen to be half the price (or something funny like that) of Renault's offering.

Just thought I'd add to this since I've done the conversion now. The above is certainly true, the new shocks have transformed the car. The springs have also brought an improvement, the ride is much flatter, but for me the shocks were the biggest improvement. The car feels much nicer over bumps and isn't phased by fast changes of direction.

Fitting new Powerflex Dogbone mount bushes to replace the shagged originals. Cannot wait to give that a go!

ive just gone to eibach sportline pros they dont really lower the height much but its stiffer and does make a diffrence i think
