Eibach pro line with 182 non cup struts.. Questions

  Ex 182 owner
Hello all,
I am just about to do a front end refresh. Got the option on a set of eibach pro lines (black). Just wanted to check that the spring rates are not way off when matched with 182 non cup dampers?

Does anyone know the definitive drop front and rear when compared to 182 non cup springs. The quoted drops I am unsure if they are compared to non cup or cup springs. I "think" it's 30mm all round in my case.

Finally will this have any affect on the negative camber? And if so any guess at how much? I believe non cup standard is -.5 front and -1.5 rear (?)

Not looking to do wild changes, just a mild lower and stiffen hence the eibachs.

any my advice is most welcome

Chris

I run this combo. Drop is 30mm as you said and the eibach sight also says. That's for non cup springs.

Drop isn't enough to have any real nocitcable impact on camber. Very comfortable spring, a rate them more than the previous sportlines I had before.

Look ok nice and OEM

Cheers Graham,
From reading thru other threads the sport lines do seem more popular but tbh I like the way my car handles. So not looking to make big changes or the suspension too rigid. If new Renault springs weren't twice the cost of new pro lines, I probably wouldn't be looking elsewhere.

No worries

Sportlines do offer a little more drop so look better but these are very nice and I like having a standard look. I picked mine up for about £80 I think so they offer good value as well.
