Eibach Springs. Advice please

I tried to fit my eibach sportline springs and couldn't undo the front top strut mounts, after a can and wb40, two snapped allen keys and a broken ratchet the top of shock, where the allen key goes, actually cracked. So now the ony way I can remove the shocks is to cut them out and replace them with new ones which I imagine will cost more than the springs did. Will the difference these springs make be worth it?

Go to a local garage, get them to buzz the top mount bolts of with the air ratchet, have them 'hand tighten' them, drive back home, do the springs, nae hassle..

I cant secure the shock with an allen key so it just spins now, hence i'll have to cut them out.

you don't need to be able to secure it, the air gun will wizz them off. Just use a pair of pliars to grip whats left

I'll buy the springs off you if you have no luck

As said, I'm sure a garage will be able to help with the wealth of tools they have available, and at least you'll know if cutting them off is the only available option...
