Engine change...Insurance?

I have a MK1 1.2 Clio, thinking about putting a younger 1.4 engine in it, would my Clio be classed as a modified car and a high group insurance, or would it just increase to the group insurance that a standard 1.4 would be?

when i changed my engine they base the quote on the donor car (172) but because it isnt a 172 its cheaper to insure (less desireable to thieves)

I thought quinn only insured mods so long as they didnt up the power of the car?

Yep, but I wasnt sure if changing to a unmodded 1.4 Clio engine would class as a modified car. I was hoping it would just class it as a 1.4 Clio.
