engine mounts .....

I think im in need of some new engine mounts or gearbox mounts , when i pull away i hear a weird noise and it feels liek the engine slightly moves back and the gear stick slightly moves,

So how much is it gonna cost me for new engine mounts and gearbox mounts ?

renault quoted me £200 for an engine and gearbox mount on my 16v

they seen you coming stupac.

box mount (front) is 30 quid from renault. The top engine is 50 quid. Dog bone is 36 quid or something.

Get them even cheaper at eurocarparts or GSF.

if you can do it yourself do it mate. Renault will have your pants down hehe. They charge £700 to change the clutch on a 16v hehe.

yea but doesnt fitting new engine mounts involve lifting the engine up and welding new ones in ?

erm no. a few nuts and thats it.

Stick the ren jack under the sump and jack it up undo the old mount bin it bolt in the new one. 20 mins magic.

yeah easy DIY job, as chris h says just jack under the sump, undo and replace, see the haymes for this one.
