engine oil cap thingy

is there meant to be a cap or some sort for the engine oil compartment? mines been leaking oil and i think i have something missing down there, if so what is it? and where can i get it from? thanks

orrr cmon i know one of you 1000 people know on this forum!!! i need to get it bloody fixed! i just need to know what it is and how i can stop it and fix it pretty please!

I'm not sure what you wan to know there an oil cap which twsits onto the engine and a sump plugs thats all.

its dripping from the bottom of the car, where the oil is emptied i think, i think there is something missing.. got my car out today since a while then theres a huge patch of oil, and i drove it today and where every the car is stationary theres a patch of oil of where it was. basically its leaking oil from the bottom of the engine. i just want to kno what needs to be placed on it to stop it from leaking so i can order the parts

new sump plug then. check the sump for damage.


or even around the engine for oil leaks

If its leaking from the sump its the waher you need to change so drop the oil and use a new sump washer. Some places are to cheap and don't use a new one and it means it leaks.

Just check it tight though I've known ones which have been resued sump washers to come loose

lol hopefully my EMA has gone in this week so i might just do that.. yeah no wonder i cant get onto some topics... i think the fiver would pay off seen as though i can see and expect alot of problems arising from this car in the future..
