Engine oil filter change question!!!

  Nothing at the mo :(
hey all, i know how to change the oil and everything, even taking of the fuel guard rail

But from looking at it last night there are alot of cables below the oil filter. when i unscrew it wont it go everywhere? or is there a better way to take it of?

Tilt the filter back, as you lift it away. There's a fair bit still in there... or there was in mine today.

not really. i was just asking what people use to catch the oil. someone else i spoke to has brought a small lil tub to put under the filter

I just let it run down (whilst extracting the filter as quickly as possible once undone) leave it to drain for a few minutes, then give it all a blow off with brake cleaner, into the drain pan
