turn the key and wait for it to say oil ok, then press the wee trip re-set stalk poking out the dials, what does it say??

should be 0000000

if its 0000--- thats ok

if its ------- = bad

went from

ooooooo 3 days ago to
ooooo-- yesterday to
oo----- today

problem?????

sounds like its got an oil leak/burning oil

that displays just a level sensor.. keep a check on the oil with the dipstick

have been doing that anyway mate.. level seems fine on the dipstick :S

oil level was bang on this morning and display showed ooooooo!!

Gonna get a pressure sensor switch tomorrow and see how it goes!

the oil pressure switch (the one that puts the stop light on)
and the oil level sensor are two different sensors

pressure switch is the green plug next to the filter,, level sensor is a black plug points down in to the sump

so its the green 1 to the left of the filter that needs doing?

All fixed...

found an electrical connection dangling @ the front of the engine, reconnected it and all is now well!!!!
