engine or gearbox mount

when firing up the lump on my willy1 the engine seems to rock and shake a lot, its drives perfect and the guages all read spot on. Im 99% sure itll be a tired bottom engine mount although its best to check with the people thatve already had the same thing! funnily enough it doesnt do it from cold!!

any suggestions?

Could be a worm mount coupled with a warm start algorhythm that simply has too much advance and make the engine shake more.

mounts are weak point, try changing gearbox rear link, or dogbone as its commonly refered to, its the usual culprit, but other twoi mounts go also, just dont seem to wear as quickly

  172 cup,s2 rs turbo

you could visually check the engine mount at the rear underneath(dogbone mount) as they split.
