The 1.2 is prone to having "mayo" in the oil filler cap so I would'nt worry about that. When you say the management light is on, which light is it exactly and what sort of symptoms are you getting with the car? Rough running, poor fuel comsumption?
The little picture of an engine in the bottom right. The engine sounds louder than usual and the gear changes seem alot more clunky. It seems to be a little faster though :S
Upstream Llambda or coilpack. Its an emmissions warning light so will be a missfire causing unburnt fuel so the llambda brings the light on or the Llambda itself is buggered.
Go to a garage that does diagnostics (Not Renault) and get it plugged in. If it brings up a sporadic/static miss-fire, it'll be coilpack. If it brings up a Llambda fault, it'll be either of the Llambda sensors and it ill tell you which one.
Llambda unplugs from loom and unscrews from the exhaust. Coilpack has 4 bolts IIRC, loom plug and the 4 HT leads (just make sure the leads go back on the correct cylinders)
