hi guys thanks for the replies, the evo is up for 10,695 at the mo
i will probably just have to be more patient and wait till it sells i think
yeh i think the clio is a great car, i have been massivly impressed by frostys and adamfs Clio Cups, and for the area i live in (croydon) the evo is just too fast to enjoy it really, as soon as you put your foot down your breaking the law practically, all the roads round here are 30s, there is no point me having it.
I think that hot hatches are the best fun you can have in a car (whilst actually driving it!) they are so light and responsive and especially the Clios, even my mums 1.4 is quite nice to drive!
so basically i want someyhing more useable than the Evo and faster than a VTS - hmmmmm, yep a 182 would do nicely
Its good to see I am not the only person that has come from a faster car (in my case an RB5 Scoob) to a Clio.
Not for reasons too dissimilar to the ones you mention too. I really could not see the point in having a car that is as heavy on the wallet as my Scoob when in reality there was no way I was able to really stretch its legs regularly enough.
At least the Clio will geive me decent performance when I want it but wont be costing me the earth just to keep running. Good luck with selling the Evo, I took a bit of a hit with the RB but think I managed to get a decent figure for it in the end against the Cup.
