Exhaust and chip

Just got a price on a mongoose full stainless system with twin dtm backbox (£365.00)

has any1 got one of these zahausts any pics

also collins who supply the exhaust offer a deal package on power chip aswell as the exhaust they claim both will give 15 - 18 bhp for £500 does this sound a good deal

Cheers

baz

power gain of this kind is normal (put also other airfilter element in) and 500 isnt that bad for a chip and an exhaust.

i doubt the power gains on a 172 - the standard exhaust isnt gonna be hugely restrictive, why would reanaut release a performance car with sh*t exhaust breathing. ppl have said that itsd hard to get good gains on a chipped 172, ask and see what others have got.

Why would Renault release a performance car with a sh*t exhaust that rattles? ...engine mounts that break? ...[name any other 172 problem here]

Because it saves them money. Yes the exhaust is less restrictive but it is restrictive.
