Exhaust Bolt Fitment - Quick Question

Help a brother in need! Exhaust fell off, bolts must've snapped. Work bodged together for me temporarily...

As it's a bodge, I can't see how the previous bolts were put together so I'm assuming like this \/\/\/



The deep base washer (second item from right in first pic) looks to me as though it goes into the slot on the downpipe but it doesn't fit in there flush.

You need to knock the old rusty cups out of the manifold flange and the the new one will sit properly in it
