maybe the guy thought your car was a mk1, as it would probably fit an old clio mk1. didnt' you ask for a photo before your brought it, i saw some chap on ebay trying to sell some weird OMP exhaust claiming it was for a 172 but it didn't even have the bend to go over the rear axel and he was like, yeah it fits, whatever !!!
I also was going to buy an exhaust form a CS member i will mention his name "Adamio ", promised me eveything was there, i gave him like a good few days warning before i was going to come and meet him, to get it all together, i drove all the way to kent, 50 miles, to find it had a section missing, so impossible to fit unless i wanted to cut up my cat and have some garage weld the thing together, t**t wasting my time, i pm'd him afterwards a few times, over a month later he still hasn't had the balls to reply or even appologise for me wasting 2 hours of my time and 100 miles worth of fuel what a c%$t
