Exhaust/induction whistle

Hi
i seem to get a whistle like induction noise coming from the car under hard acceleration, sounds a bit like a supercharger whine. However Iv only just seemed to notice it once I had the front clamp bracket re-tightened onto the cat? I have a standard induction system with a k-tec janspeed unsilenced cat back system, does this sound normal?

Hi this is quite common on these, I found mine was due to a rusty cat so changed it and the noise went.

Possibly due to a worn CAT to Manifold gasket. Had the same with mine not to long ago.

£23 for a new gasket kit from 'Wests Renault' on here. You need to be a full member though.

FYI I replaced my gasket with a genuine one and still get the whistle.

Also have the same issue, K-tec even fitted it all for me when I got my decat fitted.

It's so weird, everything seems in good order andsecure, just sounds a bit like a supercharger when I.boot it lol
