exhaust knocking on ignition

wen the 1.4 16v engine bursts into life wen im sitting on my drive (facing up hill) the exhaust knocks, or atleast it sounds like that. ne1 had that problem on a 2000mile 2month old car b4?

If its facing up the hill, then the chances are that the system is resting against the chassis because its being forced backwards by the gravity of the slope. Id expect that it was the manifold downpipe that was rubbing, although it could be other points.
