Exhaust mount knackered

For the past few days I've noticed a horrid banging coming from the rear passenger side, whenever I accelerate off.
Fearing the worst, I had a look and it seems that the rubber mount that the exhaust sits in has split so its now just metal on metal (exhaust & bracket) with a lot of empty space in between.
I want to have a bash at sorting it myself, bearing in mind I'm no mechanic (as you can probably tell my my terminology ), so some advice would be appreciated.

As my camera isn't working and as I can't find a pic anywhere, this incredible little diagram will have to do..

JUst get a new one from K-tec then fill the spaces with piping.

I bought a bracket off a guy on ebay on friday and it turned up today. cheapest i could find.

Cheers - thanks a lot mate. I was hoping to get away with just getting the rubber bit, but at least I know (hopefully) it won't irritate the buggery out of me once I get it sorted.
