Exhaust Time

Hello,

Ive saved up some money for a new exhaust but im undecided on which one to buy. I dont want a loud "Chavy" exhaust just something which is bit louder than standard at low revs and has lots of Rasp at high revs.

I have norrowed it down to these too (Links below) as ive heard good reviews. Is there much difference between the 2 systems as they look the same?

(I plan to fit a De-Cat also so not sure if I should buy Super Sports or just Sports, dont want to be too loud)

The ultra performance sounds amazing, probably my favourite sounding clio exhaust

Dont bother with the centre silencer though, they are only for gays iirc

Iv messed about with Clio exhausts, then I took Freds advice and bought a Yozza - I wish I had bought one in the first place!

Yeah think Yozza is the Fav around here. Will it make much difference keeping the Cat in place Power/Torque wise?

Also is the Yozza still Raspy n not too loud at low revs. Never bought an exhaust in my life and scared I will end up with some Nova/Corsa Chavy loud thing

just get the yozza when i first had mine on i thought it was to loud but after about a day it really grows on you and sounds awesome when giving it some beans :approve:

right if you want it quite then dont go for a supersports system at all they are louder mine was noticably louder when i fitted it and another thing dont get a decat those 2 components mixed together (supersports+decat) sound fantastic but are very loud on full throttle.

supersports with decat is raspy as hell at high revs with a decat, but loud down low.

if im being honest having a near as standard exhaust not at low revs and a decat dont really happen, best bet would be get a standard exhaust system and then get a decat fitted to that

So theres hardly any gains from fitting a decat then?

decat dont really do alot all i noticed was improved throttle response and maybe a slightly harder kick at 5k

yeah i believe so, heard a few people say the ktr ones weight a ton! apparently they have a tendency to sag and sit very low. havin said that tho iv never done any research on 182 systems so cant say for certain. I know a lad near me that ditched his k-tech one for a yozza and loves it, said he also felt a slight hike in performance
