Exhaust tips

Hey, what is the best method of cleaning the tips on a 182 exhaust? They are filthy black inside and want to bring the lovely chrome look back.

Would a simple steel cleaner and a pad of somesort be best?

Metal polish and a soft cloth, autosol or autoglym or similar

I have some vitopan steel cleaner http://www.dispensers.co.uk/products/Vitopan-Steel-Clean-12-x-275ml.html would this be ok? I just need to get myslef a soft cloth then, have a packet full of microfibre jobbies, would these be ok? Dont want to scratch the exhaust, want a lovely deep shine

Autoglym metal polish and a microfibre cloth job done :approve:

Autosol worked a treat for me.

Autosol, however i don't clean exhausts, i think they look better dirty.

Autsol, i also use fine wire wool if it needs some extra 'bite'

Cleaned them, only took two hours brought the chrome up lovely and shiny, how long they will stay like that I have no idea.

I use mothers mag and alu polish for it, works poerfect

Haha Sunday is the only time I can spend with the car rather than the gf

G3 if its really bad with wire wool or Autosol if it just needs a bit of black removing.
