Exhaust

Hello all



I have a clio Sport 2002

Today as I went out in it I thought it sounded more aggresive than usual. I stopped to literally watch the back box completely fall away from the exhaust. Hmmm.

Im dreading going to a garage tommorow and getting it replaced. I know nothing about cars to be honest so I must ask a question.

My passenger side headlamp has a layer of condensation in it. Is this a common problem and will it need replacing = more expense??

usually condensation means the headlight's seal is giving in, sometimes can be cured by lobbing a load of silicone sealant on the seal..

ps Renault will rape you if you get a replacement exhaust from them, thats why people usually go aftermarket when they drop off...

£200+ for a rear silencer from the stealers.

CES UK do an OEM replacement for half that. They all drop off after 3yrs and 6mths apparently.

The nearest place for me to go, considering I haver had to tie the exhaust back on , is quick fit.

i heard on here the headlight units aren't sealed. mine sometimes mists up but it soon clears.

I looked on google after reading your previous post but there were none anywhere near me and I needed it done today as missus is away with it.
