doh... got my scorpion exhaust....

Arrived from demon tweeks... NO de-cat pipe.. when i ASKED on the phone if it come with one they said "yes"

when i start the car up and idling it seems to be knocking on the back of the bumper.... what can i do to stop/quiten this noise? driving me nuts and only had it on 1hr! LOL

I had the same problem on my zhorst.

Pushed a bit of hose pipe between the mounting and the bush. did the job.

failing that get some coach bolts and nuts and use these instead of the supplied screws. this way you can lowwer the zhorst just enough to stop it banging.

Ok.... have just inspected the system...

The Catalyst converter where it joins to the new system.. it seems to wobble

NOT wobble as in its loose... but just seems to be weak?

just bend the brackets on teh exhaust to lower it a tad.

O, and i have a Scorpion de-cat pipe on order!

well, if teh rear box/tailpipe is knocking on the bumper tehn bend teh last bracket up a bit to lower the box down a tad.....you can always bend it back.

A bit of heat helps.....got an oxy- acetalene welder handy?

take off the backbox, you can use a hammer to hit the (damn English translations eheh) steel thing that fixes the backbox to the rubber handles.

had to do this several times on my "hacked" backbox till geting it right.
