Exhuast manifolds

Do these have to be like all certain lengths etc? Ive got a 4-2-1 manifold from my old civic vti i found in the shed that i dont mind cutting up. Would this work or would the car run dodgey?

What i had in mind was cut the flanges off both manifolds, line up and weld the civic 1 to the renault flange then cut the flanges off the middle on the civic manifold and flip it 180 and weld it back up making it 1 peice?

bore sizes, flow design, design of bends so they fit rite around your car/engine are all different

wouldnt be worth the hassle.

Unbeleivable amount of hassle. Clios have exhaust at the back for a start.....then theres cylinder spacing, then theres port shape and size........
