TodayI had to have my tyre and window screen replaced with in the space of about an hour of each other! Gutted my credit card took a bit more of a beating lol at least i have a nice shiny window and a nice new tyre but because the glue hasnt set yet on the window its rattling like a bugger! going to leave it till the end of the week and if its still rattling im taking it back!

How long did u leave the tape that is stuck on the window to the body work, keeping it in place for?

auto glass had it for about 4 hours! when I came to it it was still in the work shop had to wait another 30 mins then just drove it away, got half way round the roundabout and noticed a huge blob of sealent on the inside piller so turned straight back round drove in to the work shop and got them to remove the pillar and clean it back up. apparently there work has a lifetime guarentee on it so if it rattles I will be leaving my car with them again. It drives me mad as one of my main jobs in work is working in the quality analysis centre especially creeks and rattles!! feel like screaming every time i drive my car now :dapprove:

I thought the glue set almost straight away? When my windscreen was replaced there was no mentions about waiting for the glue to set or whatever

apparently im not even allowed to wash it for 2 days!! and to make matters worse a f*&@ing dirty cat waled right over my bonet, window and roof will take pics l8r and post them up! like I said going to leave it till the end of the week then they are doing it again if it doesnt stop rattling
