  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!
It's sold like that as some people already have an ECU, or want to use/choose something different. You always need an aftermarket ECU

If you're up north Paul at RS Tuning can map them to the standard ECU but it's not as cost effective as you'd probably first think. It won't drive anywhere near as well and will be quite flat in the low end even after live mapping.

Do it right and get a standalone ecu

Bear in mind that to do that you will need a MAP input from the bodies, which is more expense and hassle as well, its not like fitting an RS2 where the standard ECU is already catered for properly with the kit, the bodies ktec sell are intended to be used with TPS as the load value not MAP.

Yus, and I'd imagine that's half the reason why it doesn't work near as well anyway.

James I think that was Russ_16v's car. He sold it to a member called Midge on here, who broke it unfortunately

A lot longer spent playing around with the jet sizes from the balance pipes and the size of the reservoir for them etc could probably have improved things, but its just far from ideal, much better to just get an RS2 if you want it on the standard ECU really.
