Failed MOT: Xenon issue

Evening,

MOT expired today (got dates mixed up) got a late booking today and the car failed

The tester listed the fault as "nearside headlight beam image incorrect" :S

Any ideas what could be causing this? the offside beam is ok. They've kept the car to have a proper look tomorrow as they ran out of time today, just wondering if it's something simple or if it's something terminal

Are they clouded up?

Both lens are clear, previous owner cleaned them up about 9 months ago iirc

Is the beam pattern adjuster set right? The one inside the lights to change the beam for driving on the other side of the road in other countries

bulb sat in housing properly and not wonkey ? make sure lights are off before playing in the back of them due to high voltage of xenons
