Delcbr, AVA are IMO easily the best RR in Scotland. Alan is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met in the motor trade.
As for Horror stories Id like to hear them mate, Everyone has different opinions on different places.
AVA built my brothers 550bhp cosworth engine and it managed 188.8mph at Brunters.

I forgot all about it lol Next time it goes on an RR it should be running a bit more power than it is now

Looking at my graphs again and I'm not sure can someone confirm?

My standard 106 GTi made 133.5bhp up at Ecosse in bo'ness

Well looking at the engine power and corrected engine power, all 3 of my runs have been similar.
Looking at wheel power, on each subsequent run I've gone up 3bhp.
Will put up the exact figures when I get back in the house.
Results of my 3 runs with the mods..
Run1: Corrected Engine Power: 67.5
Wheel Power: 41.2
mods: Sebring backbox, K&N replacement filter.
Run1: Corrected Engine Power: 66.2
Wheel Power: 44.1
mods: Sebring backbox, Decat, Pipercross IK (which was setup badly, behind the radiator).
Run1: Corrected Engine Power: 66.7
Wheel Power: 46.9
mods: K-tec Stealth, Decat, Enclosed IK with CAF.
I'm attaching the graphs also.
Not that I really care, just thought I would share.

falklands rollers are the best about, always consistant results as plummers graphs show!
The 1st 2 graphs look the same anyway!
